Since being founded in 1973, Century Boosters has provided a special
opportunity for employees to give back to Citrus Valley Medical Center – Queen of the Valley Campus. To date, employees participating in Century Boosters have contributed more than $200,000 toward ensuring quality health services in their own hospital and in their own community.
Century Boosters funds have supported building projects, expansion, remodeling and equipment purchases at Queen of the Valley. Here are a few examples of projects assisted by Century Boosters:
- Remodeling the kitchen and cafeteria
- Providing roving TV/VCR carts for the nursing units
- Purchasing needed supplies and equipment throughout the facility

“I like that you can say where you want the money to go. A lot of it helps the NICU, which is an area I’m especially interested in supporting.”
—Robyn Filiatrault
“In fund raising, when you approach local businessmen and associations for money, if they know that the company’s own employees are involved, it helps them make a decision.”
—Andre Trepanier
