Citrus Valley Hospice
Jerry and Lorraine Lyon,
Green Valley Lake
Dear Jeanne,
I can't say enough Thank You's to you and Citrus Valley Hospice
for all the great care you gave to Dad. I know he gave you a bad time,
just his way...
He is now with Mom - not sure if she was ready - but it sure gives me
and Linda peace to know we'll be together some day.
You, Damisha and Lisa have been our strength and courage. I know you are
all helping others now. They are the lucky ones.
God Bless, Gerri

"Sixteen years ago today, I sat in your hospital wondering if my baby
was going to die. I was young, and was a train wreck emotionally when
we arrived for the birth of my first child. My wife had a very extended
attempt at natural birth, only to realize that a C-section was going to
be our best option. After a successful procedure, my daughter was born.
Apparently, she had fluid in her lungs, and was having a hard time breathing.
So I sat there alone, my wife in recovery somewhere in the hospital, thinking,
"My baby is going to die." Then your NICU unit kicked into gear.
What an amazing group of people they were. I will never forget the comfort
I had knowing that those caring professionals were giving their all to
save my baby. Sixteen years later, I have a beautiful, intelligent, funny,
amazing daughter that blesses my life every day. Thank you for your devotion,
care, and love that you gave her during those difficult hours. Keep up
the good work, and know that you are not forgotten. You can't imagine
the difference you make. Thank you."

To Whom It May Concern:
I was recently at the Hospital in Covina and I could not stop thinking
about the way the Doctors, the Staff, the Nurses, and the trainees have
treated me. The entire Staff including Paramedics treated me with such
class and dignity that I had to let the Administrative Office know the
quality on their staff which is incomparable to any other Hospital that
I have been which I exclude Queen of the Valley which I found so dignified.
The timing of my medication, my meals and other Services was way beyond
dignity and compare. I must add that the hospital doctors, and my doctor,
Doctor Vahid Javaharian, Doctor Donna Dudziak, and my Nurses, Marilyn,
Susie, Raquel, Clarissa, Roberta, Sarah the Student and Yanet were all
excellent in the care that they gave me. I miss their presence, and all
the other smiling faces of the other Nurses, and they sure made my illness
kind of fun, sort of speaking like being at home that I wanted to stay longer.
I pray for all of you that are helping the Elderly, and the sick, for
God's guidance, and for the Doctors, the Paramedic officers and either
volunteering or qualified registered Nurses to give you all the strength
that we all need to carry on their Mission with such Caring with Love,
Dignity and Compassion, and for someday we can all come together and give
all these fine people that care that someday we all need and including
their pensions that they all very well deserved.
I thank you from the very bottom of my heart and soul, and if I can be
of any help in contributing in any which way I would like to participate.

To each of you who had a role in the case of my dad over the last four
years, my heartfelt thanks.
Your kindness, compassion, humor, and excellent care gave him dignity
and comfort, for which our family is truly grateful. It was touching to
hear some of your stories and to see your obvious affection for him. He
was a character...I hope this honorarium can help to provide services
to another family in the way you helped ours. Thank you all.
With gratitude, S.G.

Enclosed find a check. This is in memory of our very good friend. Mrs.
L.B. of Santa Barbara.
My husband died in your facility on April 18, 2002. We were so very pleased
with his short stay at your hospital. Your loving and caring attitude
was great. It helped us through a very difficult time. I hope when my
time comes, I will be put in such a loving institution.
Sincerely yours,
Dorothy A. Jones
